Neither of these knives have any blade play what so ever, and have very smooth actions. I'm very particular about blade play. I just cleaned the Sebenza, removed all the old lubricant, and replaced it with CRK's fluorinated grease. The smudges you see on the blade are just finger smudges; I just didn't wipe the blades off before taking the picture.
