Wow. Adam, that's a big knife and a lot of very skilled work for $225. Your low prices could lead people to under estimate what a highly accomplished knifemaker you are.
I recently received a "Hand Forged Desert Ironwood Hunter" from Adam and i am very impressed with his work. Both knife and sheath remind me of the quality of workmanship in my Burt Foster knives.
This Camp knife is an incredibly good deal for someone looking for a large knife. I'm sure whomever buys it will be very impressed and very pleased he spoke for it.

I have to block the Exchange portion of this Site.
I'll take it provided you can make the sheath to fit one of us troubled Lefties.

IF you were to make a similar size blade in a recurve...

PM going out...now.

Thanx
Pete

PS...Mine...Mine...All Mine!!!

Adam,
PM sent.

Roland,
In speaking to Wifey about the value of this purchase, I think I successfully blamed you.
She's half Pennobscot so bringing home another well made knife is never really an issue.

Bb, i'm absolutely certain that both you and your wife will be very impressed, and if you are familiar with Customs and their prices, you will immediately know that your $225 was very well spent.
I forgot to say, that my AA Forge Hunter is truly hair poppin' sharp. Like, as sharp as a Ban Tang, and that is saying something.
Even after purchasing well over 100 custom knives, it still surprises me that too many makers send their knives out without a truly sharp edge. Hence, i really appreciate a "hair poppin" edge, like on my AA Forge Hunter.

Thank you very much for the kind words!

Sorry I missed this one, Congratulations Balldboy, Adams Knives are Beasts, what I call "For Life" Blades, Beautiful.

I live about 10 miles from Indian Island in Old Town, the Reservation of the Pennobscots, is she originally from up here? New Jersey is a far cry from up here ;)

Her Grandmother Betsy Curtis lived in quite a few towns in Maine.
My wife's grandfather was a steam fitter so they followed the work traveling as far south as Virginia.

The town she was born in had the standard fire in the Post Office-General Store-Hall of Records so we have just a few pictures that verify her existence.

When Betsy passed away he married a round heeled spawn of Satan so we lost any opportunity to trace the Pennobscot side.

Her grandfather had a hunting camp between the 2 Lakes just north of Millenocket, they build a year round house next to it. The above mentioned spawn sold it and latched onto another sucker.

I have his Western hunting knife and a nice old hatchet.

We have evidence of a Lenilenapi village along the shores of the Whppanong river which runs near our home.

Adam,
Everyone that spoke glowingly about your knives should take it up a notch!!!

This knife is the impetus I needed to sell off a lot of my production knives.

Great Stuff!!!
Pete
