I'm going to list these out in the order I got them (my quest for the perfect spyderco), including the ones that I no longer have..

Fully serrated Endura, the old style with the molded clip (which I broke)

Plain edge "Q"

Half-serrated Delica (confiscated at a punk show)

Plain edge stainless Calypso Jr. (very classy, unfortunately I'm partial to tip-up)

Plain edge Native! I love this knife, swedge aside it is a thing of beauty.. Now I just need to replace it with the newer version (I have the old GIN-1) and then I can stop.. really I can..

Talk about an inferiority complex... All I've got is a lightweigt dragonfly and a starmate, both plain edge.

Maybe I can track down a large calypso at the show this Saturday...

Gary, didn't I trade a knife for my Calypso to you? You gave me a warped one! Actually, Sal said it was one of the first 200, most of which were warped during heat treat!

Anyway, I like the knife a lot. I have owned four different Spydercos. I currently own three: Wegner, Calypso, and Endura. I like 'em all!

Yup thats what I posted in the start of this thread, that you got one, and the other after a long time was traded to LarryLuana, but I didn't know that yours was warped as I got it from Freeport Knives new in the box as an extra from a trade I did with them a while back because I like the one I had and thought another wouldn't hurt, so I never had yours out of the box to check it over, never occurred to me that it would leave the factory warped but as I remember you saying in an email that once you got the knife, you contacted Sal and thought about sending it in but decided against it?
I was as surprised as you and offered to trade back, your used Viele fully serrated, but you decided to keep it and thought it was one of the sharpest knives you had. Maybe Sal can replace that knife still? How warped is the blade?
The one I have, pictured in this thread, has one side that has a slight dent on the full width near the tip, looks to be a grind indent? but the edge is true and it takes an exceptional edge, I'm still amazed at how sharp this knife has gotten! Glad to hear you still have that, it must be almost a year now?

Well I see that a lot of you folks enjoy the Civilian, and some even have the hard to find plain edged versions, lucky guys. I just this morning received my Civilian from Andy Wires, thanks again Andy. And I'm here to say WOW that tip is wicked, if you look up the word Wicked in the dictionary you'll find a picture of this knife.

I just did a scan of the knife and thought I'd share with the rest, it's the older style with aluminum handles.
