This isn't your grandma's butcher knife. It's a large, heavy but well balanced camp style knife. The design allows it to chop as well as slice with the balance point being towards the tip and a slow distal taper. Forged from 5160, edge quenched, flat grind with some forge marks left on the spine. Handle is highly figured American walnut with light and dark streaks throughout. It's got leather spacers behind a stainless guard with stainless pin. Big blade with a full handle. Sheath is custom fit with belt loops on both sides for left or right hand carry.
