Not looking for trades, I have too many knives!

Post "I'll take it" here on the thread for anything you want, in addition to PMing or emailing me through the forum. If you want more than one, I'll deduct $20 per knife added given savings in shipping.

Prices include shipping/insurance to anywhere in the US. Payment by paypal (I'll eat the fees) or USPS money order. Additional shipping charges for International, and (of course) only limited shipping insurance available. I WILL NOT lie on a customs form--if you can't legally have something, don't buy it.

Bladeforums is not always reliable notifying me of replies or messages--if you don't hear from me immediately don't worry, if you were the first take something then it's yours.

Please carefully inspect knives upon receiving them. I try to be meticulous about finding flaws, but if I miss something, let me know immediately, and we can talk about either an adjustment to the price if you still want it, or a complete refund in addition to me covering the return shipping. My reputation is important to me, and I'll never try to slip anything by you.

Here we go!

Ivan Campos chopper with swivel leather sheath. 5160 Blade length is about 10", 1/4" thick with an OAL of 15". Chisel grind blade differentially tempered (Temper line does not want to show up in my light tent but you can see it easily enough in person). I THINK the handle is ipe. The sheath is marked with the initials FBL on the back at the tip. There is a slight rough spot on the leather dangler which I would guess is from the handle scale--the sheath could really use a beeswax rubdown but I didn't as it would have obscured this little flaw. Couple of dark places (none of them will catch the head of a needle so I think they're stain as opposed to pitting) that were in the blade when I bought it, and have never developed any rust. I have never used this knife, and it doesn't look like the prior owner did either. $185 Now $160

Koster Survivor with green micarta--0.25" A2 steel, 9.78" blade. I'm the second owner but as far as I can recall/tell it's brand new. Only the storage marks on the truly excellent Brian Wagner (Okuden) sheath (I've tried all the kydex benders, NOBODY is better than Brian). Sheath currently wears a Blade-Tech IWB loop, but I can swamp for a large tek-lok if you prefer. There is the slightest little pock-mark on the blade--I have the sheath pointing at it in the second picture and a closeup of it in the 3rd. It was there when I got it, and I don't know if it was a rust spot (there's no marks of polishing around it) or a flaw in the steel to begin with. Anyway, it's tiny. $275 Now $240

Newt Livesay LAK1 (Livesay Adventure Knife) survival knife prototype. It´s from Newt´s own personal collection and was never put into production. The knife was made on May 8, 1998. It´s made from 3/16" 1095 steel (parkerized) with one of the most ergonomic micarta handles around. Knife is flat ground with an OAL of 17 7/8". Never used or sharpened. What looks like wear in the third picture is oil I didn't completely get out of the parkerizing. $185 Now $150

Newt Livesay....great big choppy thing. :D 3/16" 1095 blade 12", OAL 17.8" Okay, this knife was one of the first customs I bought back in the day (we're talking 2003--2004) and I cannot find the original thread, but I think it was originally a combination of the Livesay HKR handle with the RTAK blade, which the original user used the hell out of, and then sent back to Newt who then modded it for him, turning it into a satin (belt finish) recurve. Originally I doubted the mods were done by Newt (given that his maker's mark was partially sanded out) but having seen how casual he was with unevenly stamped marks, I guess I believe it. Whoever did it, the heat treat is still right on--I've cleared plenty of thorn vines with this (invariably making contact with the trees they're wrapped around) and the edge has never rolled or showed any damage, and is still sharp. There are a few marks/rubs on the blade but I always clean tools immediately after using them so never any rust. Really a great feeling handle, and the nylon belt loop on the kydex sheath is both in great shape and could be removed/replaced easily with a tek-lok or other hanging system. $140 Now $115

Sorry for the delay--Couldn't log in for awhile! Yes they're all still available. :)

Bump up with small price drops--shipping these big guys is so expensive, I'm not going down much. :)

Sitting delayed in the airport, so bouncing this back up with tiny price drops :)

Okay, take a look here. I put them all together so you could see the relative sizes. The other two are still the price they were when that sale thread was active, the new one which is not used/modified and not a rough prototype is $300 if you want it--It's much more of a bowie, 8.75" blade out of 0.264" stock, 14 inches overall. The false edge is damned near sharp--I doubt you could cut yourself on it but a cop could probably claim it was double edged so if you're in a state that prohibits that, I can always square it off if you'd like (I do clean work, it'd look like it came that way). The coating (some kind of tool black) is marked from the sheath in a few places that I show in the pictures, and there's a rub mark right behind the finger groove on the tang. Lemme know what you think. :) Just so you know, I'm heading out on work travel for a week on Thursday, so while there's no rush at all, if you decide you want them it'll either have to be before then or after I get back when they're sent out.
