As most of you probably already know I've been selling some of my collection off. I saved imo the rarest and best piece for last this week.

THE GOOD
CRK Large Classic brown leather calfskin inlay S30V 9/23/2003. Complete with Box, Birthcard, wrench, paperwork etc.

THE BAD
Gently carried and used. Snail trails on the scales & clip, scratches on hardware etc. Leather inlay is in mint condition. Blade looks mint with no scratches and has a factory sharp edge never sharpened. My honest assumption is it was carried a few dozen times as a show off piece but never actually cut much if anything.

THE UGLY
Although this knife's last 2 owners have been CRK heavy hitters on the forum and big time collectors they never mentioned any issues with it. Call me an over analyzer but my feedback and reputation on BF isn't worth the $150-$200 extra Id get for this knife if I didn't mention any flaws.
The classic has the slightest amount of lock stick and I mean a small amount but it is present and worth noting. Also the blade is off centered to the presentation side, it's just barely not touching as light passes through the entire length of the blade between scales. It's perfectly smooth with no blade play, grit or other issues and hasn't been a problem for previous owners who carried it including myself.

If I was smart Id send it in for a free spa service which will fix both the lock stick and install new washers for perfect centering. Id then sell it for $200 more but I'm not willing to wait 4-6 weeks for turnaround and it functions flawlessly as is from a users standpoint.
If you've made it through my drawn out essay then I'll treat you too a phenomenal price! I'm pricing this as if the very worst case scenario is possible, a CRK blade change which is extremely doubtful in my mind but the option is left open. After a quick phone call to CRK alycia stated it can likely be centered with new washers if it bothered me enough. The centering and bit of stick never bothered me enough to send her in.
SOLD
