Hello Folks. Ok, first off this piece originally came with a polished BG42 blade, however was replaced years ago with a stonewashed BG42 blade. The knife is in NIB condition. Is complete with birthcard, box, etc.
While it was being refitted with a new BG42 blade it was sent in for a spa, however it is smooth as day, perfectly centered, and really a perfect example of a large Classic with BG42 blade steel.
It does have one "dark mark on the reverse", which I was told was a hardness test to assure that it was in fact bg42 bladesteel. The second picture shows the hardness test, and the third proves that it is in fact a BG42 blade as there is no "S' stamped on the blade itself, meaning that it is infact a BG42 blade.
The date codes on the inner scales all read "00", meaning that it was in fact made in the year 2000. The thumbstud is a deep dark blue and shows minimal to no wear. I will let everyone make their own "assumptions" on this piece, however it is perfectly centered, the lockup is exceptional, and it lines up with everything with the exception of the polished blade.
Price is $695.00> $675.00 tyd. Pay Pal only, NO TRADES, U.S. Only.
The first "I'll take it" followed by an email gets the piece as it is cross posted so timestamp does apply. Really the perfect Large Classic, in impeccable condition.

I have confirmed with an ex CRK employee from the time, and the "LC" on the box stands for "label change" as the knife went from a polished bg42 blade, to a now stonewashed bg42 blade. Same year, same BG42 blade, just stonewashed versus polished.
