Large Classic with Mammoth Ivory inlays

For the time being, I have a make shift fob of sorts for this knife as I
carry this one clipped in my pocket while the William Henry rides on the
belt. What I want to get this year would be a bead this size but made
of polished mammoth ivory, that would be very cool, this works great as
you lock onto the bead with your fingers to draw the knife from your pocket.
Also you can see the lockbar side of the mammoth inlay, sort of...

She's so funny, I said yes I think it very well may be THE knife but time
will tell, she reminded me of the VAST number of previous THE knives
and I said she's getting more and more like her mother every day ;)

I'll never make the mistake again of saying this is "the one" or "this is the last one for a while". The reaction from my wife or friend is "Yeah, sure it is".

The final conclusion though is fer sure....It will alway be a Chris Reeve Sebenza as "The One"! Regardless of model.

Thanks Ron and Rob, this folder is growing to favourite status
rather quickly indeed, time will tell, I've already had a friend email me
asking to be next in line for when I sell her ;)

Ok So I know that the Mandies can be ordered with Ivory, but I did not not know that the Seb could be ordered that way. Are these things of the past, or does one simply have to learn te great art of groveling? Steven

I'm pretty sure that the classic can be ordered with the Mammoth Ivory and you can specify bark or inner cut. Of course you'd have to contact CRK to confirm.

Congratulations on your new knife! I edc a mammoth Mnandi or a small mammoth Sebenza every day. I like the combination of the hi tech knife with the warmth of the natural ivory.

I know I will get bashed for this, but I don’t use the sheaths. I carry the Mnandi loose and the Sebenza clipped to my pocket.

Enjoy!

Well, you won't get bashed too much, if you say you carry it alone in the
pocket without keys and change and junk ;) Otherwise, I'd cringe :)

The Mnandi is a nice knife, had one for a while, a mammoth one would be nice
share some images if you have some!

Dan:

No bashing here. I have a bark ivory Mnandi that I use sometimes for gardening. Like Gary said I don't carry it in a pocket with change or keys but I don't baby it either. It has aged very nicely.;)

I had some guys looking at my knife today, when I told them the price
and that it had mammoth ivory, they just stared at the knife...and then
stared at me, like I had lobsters coming out of my ears ;) right after I
cut open a large box, no babying here either, but, it took a long time to
save up for that rascal :)

Most certainly :)
My favourite photos of this so far are the bolster shot with the blade partially open and this last one
with the bead in the forefront, which the lanyard leads you into the photograph...;)
