Hey guys,
This is a blade that has been sitting around the shop for a while now and I finally got around to finishing it. It's a large clip point hunting knife in Alabama Damascus steel. The handle material is some really beautiful Amboyna Burl. The bolsters are Indian Ebony. The pins are contrasting micarta and the lanyard tube is carbon fiber. The tang is tapered heavily and the weight reduction is significant. The balance point is right at the bolster. It is full flat ground with an unsharpened swedge.
Specs:
OAL: 10"
Blade: 5" cutting edge, 1.6" wide, FFG, full distal taper to tip, hand sanded to 800 grit before etching with Ferric
Steel: 0.17" thick at the ricasso, Alabama Damascus HT by Peter's to RC59
Handle: Amboyna Burl with Indian Ebony bolsters, black paper micarta liners, black and natural micarta pins and carbon fiber lanyard tube
Sheath: Leather, currently being made.
$295 Shipped CONUS, International buyers welcome, shipping is extra.
Paypal, checks and money orders accepted. Thank you for your consideration!

Wow Robert! Love the tapered tang & really love that the bolsters are Ebony instead of black micarta or G10...this is a very honest knife & a great deal as always, early congrats to the guy who wisely grabs this!
