All, I have customized a Jeff White Bowie knife with mahogany wood scales and brass pins. The scales were treated with a frontiersman finish-Aqua Fortis method and the handle all hand sanded with files and paper. It's a beautiful blade, and harkens back to the old ways. 1095 high carbon blade, with 90 degree spine for shaving wood for finer tinder. Comes with a true leather sheath that can easily be wet formed if you decide.
