The maker is Pohan Leu. This is really like a Phil Hartsfield blade. It is exceptionally solid and very sharp! It will readily shave hair at the slightest touch. This is a beautiful, as well as, an absolutely useful knife.

This knife is in absolutely new and unused. However, the minute one handles it, he or she will know that this is an absolutely solid and very sharp knife! I hope this helps.

Wow...how interesting...one of my old knives (which is made of A2 tool steel) made back in the days....don't really grind in that method anymore...but Andros is right...it's a nice hard rock solid blade. Yellow flat braid over round black cording.... Made back in 2005. Ostrich pattern leathered coverd sheath. NOT REAL OSTRICH

Spyken,
There is a stamp that is actually engraved below where the ricasso starts. It's just my initials engraved into the blade.

Back to the top. Pohan Leu is a maker with great potential! Anyone who buys this knife will be happy he did!
