Greetings everyone, I’ll call this a large fighter I guess since it's pretty big and doesn't quite fit the classical bowie pattern.

22-41 1.jpg22-41 2.jpg22-41 3.jpg22-41 4.jpg22-41 5.jpg22-41 6.jpg22-41 7.jpg22-41 8.jpg

Dimensions - 1/8” x 11 1/2” OAL and 1 3/8” tall – 6 5/8” from tip to guard. Pro HT to 60,61 by Paul Bos (great folks over there BTW). – Hand sanded to 600 grit for a satin finish. Edge before sharpening was .010” or so, it is QUITE sharp. It balances on the guard. The swedge also around .010 and could easily be apexed.

The handle is K&G stabilized Japanese Privet, with a scalloped stainless guard and black Micarta/Orange G10 spacers. The handle is sanded to 1200 grit and finished with carnauba wax. The handle feels great in my average size hand. The “Bighorn” sheath makes it easy to deploy with great retention.

There appears to be a very faint auto-hamon, more visible on the left side than the right. There is the tiniest wave in the edge, barely visible on the right side, but not the left. It's about at the bottom of photo 5 but not visible in the photo, I can't feel it with my thumbnail and it sure doesn't have any affect in my cut tests. You can only just make it out in certain light angles.

Because of that I'm only asking only $SOLD to your US door for this one, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. I can accept paypal (G&S only please), check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US.

Thanks so much for looking! Please feel free to comment, ask anything here or via PM.

Hi John, I’ll take it. PM sent

You came out strong on this first one of the new year, John. Jeeze, that blade with the way you finish them...strong medicine. You go, dude!

Wow John! Every time I see one of your blades there is a noticeable improvement.
Maybe we can get together again since we met a year or so ago...
