Large fixed (12”+) pic thread

Assuming you’re talking about blade length …

I must have a dozen 10” blades or so. But 12” and above, the collection gets sparse. Not sure why - expensive and of limited usefulness, I guess.

That being said, I did order a Tyrant Bowie from Hunter as well.

Haha....I was gonna say the Same....
10" is where I drop off, only having a few bigger.
I too, NEED to remedy That! :D

Just like a +12" d*ck, a +12" knife is aspirational but not very practical. LOL! 😉

However, I do have a few kitchen/gardening tools that qualify . . .

Hey man, I use old kitchen knives for gardening. They make great weeding tools! Easy to resharpen and good corrosion resistance!

I didn’t mention practicality in the op. 😂 Good looking knives gentleman, let’s keep ‘em coming! I have a strange feeling this thread might cost me money… 😆

Large fixed blades have never been my thing- but they're awfully fun to own if you can put them to use.

I've only ever had one that large..
Mario Leao (MLL Knives) was active on here once upon a time, but I haven't seen anything new from him since around 2019.
Perhaps he retired- I hope he's still around and living his best life.

Anyway- this was his Nervae model, in O1.
He made some KILLER leather sheaths as well..
WIP pics...

This was one heavy duty beast.
I also had his modified Kephart model, which turned out beautiful, but wasn't quite 12+".

If anyone knows anything about Mario these days or how he's doing, I'd love to know.
