I own two of these and one is a safe queen. One is for sale. I had Rich Chen make these two for me. They are Tamahagane camp knives that are the biggest blades he has made except for his swords. They are tripple folded forged 15 times for something over 1 million layers. It took me almost 18 months to receive them. I am selling the safe queen. They are diffirentially hardened to 65-67 at the edge, yet retain incredible edge toughness. $1350 shipped insured paypal conus.

Here is a link to Rich Chens process:

These knives have cut 13,000 pieces of hemp rope

oh ,my god ,i can only see the 2nd and the 3rd pic,then how long it is ?

I am sorry, maybe if I put the specs on it that would help, lol.

OAL= 15.25"
Blade length= 9.5"
Thickness = 0.22"

Blade is convex ground down to the edge for the typical katana zero edge design. The blade Rich Chen sells in the video is typically 8" long. I asked him to make them 9-10 inches blade length. I prefer that size.

To make rope Soup:D

It's to Show how the Edge holds up;)

Edit to add, They Usually Push cut the Rope. he is Hacking the rope and Hitting the wood table Which Shows even Greater Toughness IMO

Stabber is right. The video is the first of about 14 videos showing this group of guys using one blade to chop 13,000 pieces of 1 inch hemp rope. But they are also hitting wood with every chop and they are using the sweet spot, not changing location. Very impressive.

Your chance to get a large chopper in Tamahagane triple folded steel for 1 million layers of steel. Better grain direction than CPM, lol.

Up again for this two of a kind beauty.

partial trades I am looking for are certain Spyderco's like the K2 and Bradley or ?
