Here is a dagger I just completed. The bottom 2 pieces of Damascus are made with a steel I beam from the World trade center (tower 2) and the decorative piece above the guard is a piece of the I beam. I have photo's of the guy who gave it to me. He is a cop that was on site the day after 9-11. Story about the I beam is the steel cutters were cutting out crosses and passing to folks behind the yellow tape wondering if there loved ones were alive. I have photo's of the piece were you can see were the cross was cut out. All the photo's and documents will be provided on a cd and a certificate of origin. It is not added in the price. It comes as an extra. Dagger is priced what I would sell one this size without WTC steel.
Blade length is 9 1/8 inches and overall length is 15 1/4 inches. Sharp. Handle is African Blackwood and steel in blade is 1080 and 15n20. It is SOLD SOLD free shipping in CONUS. My paypal and e-mail is dangraves4923@earthlink.net

++++++++++BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN TO LAST PICTURE TO GET AN IDEA OF HOW LARGE THE DAGGER IS. +++++++++++

SOLD

Wow! Beautiful - those grinds are majestic - but a bit big for a letter-opener (which is what I must get from you someday - I absoluely crave your avatar)

I sure love this knife, and the back story.

This will make some one very happy, and the rest of us very jealous.

That thing is simply gorgeous... And I Beams from the world trade center, eh? That's got to be a true once in a lifetime knife.

Thanks folks. I have just made some really nice pattern W's Damascus and wonder how it would look on a dagger?
