Any suggestions on a larger 3.75" or so semi tactical / edc folder,
built with quality along the lines of a Spyderco Gayle Bradley...
AKA, quality brick sh.. house, smooth, good cutter, solid lock up ect.
I like my Military, Manix 2XL, 801, G.B., PM 2, but still looking,perhaps something other than ZT 0300, 05xx
Seems what I read on Strider's, Emerson's they can be hit or miss as maybe their cs might be, if required.
I'd prefer oa length to be less than / no larger than a military, weight's not a huge deal, under 7-8 oz
would be desirable though, with decent cutting ability, grip and overall strength.
It would appear to be a tall order...

Thanks for your input.

You try a Spyderco Vallotton? Epitome of this (quality brick sh.. house, smooth, good cutter, solid lock up ect.)

Others Hogue Aluminum EX01, Benchmade 2750 (has a more tactical blade shape than the 275) Benchmade 615/610

Microtech Socom. Sub 5 ounces, 4 inch blade, great cutter, really comfortable, and a strong knife.

Good call. The Elite I had was a solid knife. Probably would have kept it if it was a Delta.

Benchmade Bedlam for something different.

Brous Mini-Division (really nothing mini about it, the standard Division is just huge)
Benchmade Contego
Benchmade 710
Benchmade 808 Loco
Spyderco Vallotton

I own all of these, along with a Gayle Bradley. I think they're all pretty comparable in quality, but my favorite, by far, is the Mini-Division. That's mostly due to it's ergonomics, but F&F is a little better than the three Benchmades as well, at least based on the ones I have. Of course it's also the most expensive by a fair margin too. What's your budget?

have you considered a spyderco police 3? this is an underrated knife. its slim but large and easy to carry. this is one of the few blades that really gives me confidence when i carry it.

Fantoni hb01, it is the same oal as the military but has a much better blade to handle ratio. The blade is a beastly 4 1/4" and is smooth as glass once broken in. Mine came with s35vn as opposed to the s30v that knife art sais it has. One of the down sides is ease of maintenance. It has close to 15 screws you have to remove to fully break it down, and it's quite finicky. I put the pivot screws in backwards which created blade play, and it took me about 3 days to realize that's what was causing it. All in all it is a great option if you are looking for a large folder.
If you've really got some money to spend you could pick up the le s125v version.

My ZT 0562 is a strong as I could ever need a knife to be. Excellent tip strength, comfortable grip (for me), fast deployment and great quality. I own a GB if that makes a difference and although I love M4, the ZT sees far more pocket time.

Got to go with the ZT 0600 or the ZT 0452. Both great knives. Both 4" or so. The 0600 is huge thick, at .190. The 0452 is lighter in every respect and flips better for me.

Any one of these might work! All the Emersons shown are 2013 and newer, and all have been "hit"... not one miss. Great knives: CQC-13, Ubr Commander, Super 7, Ubr again, Super Roadhouse, Roadhouse, CQC-15.

Gotta go with the last 2 comments. Either the ZT 0620/0630 or spend some more money and consider the CRK Umnumzaan!

CRKT Otanashi Noh Ken. 4.6 inch blade. I usually hate CRKT but took a gamble on the Otanashi after reading some glowing reviews. I was not prepared for how big this knife is. I know of no other knife that packs this much blade into such a slim package. Cost just under $100. No it is not on the same level of fit and finish as a Bradley Spyderco but then again Spyderco does not make as capable of a self defense blade as the Otanashi. Yes I have the Yojimbo 2 which is damn impressive but is still no Otanashi. Ive got plenty of Benchmades. ZT's, Spydercos etc. yet that Otanashi is one of the best knife purchases I have ever made. All it needed was some loctite on the pivot screw. It is currently out to Razors Edge for a regrind

I don't see a price range in your post, if you're okay in the $300 range look at a Grayman Knives Dua or if you want REALLY BIG a Satu.
I've got a Satu and its a beast of a knife.

Good luck with your search!!
