I'm looking to purchase two large folders. I already have a Spyderco Police3 and Military, Emerson A-100, Benchmade 760BK and a Hogue EX 01. I want to add two folders to this EDC collection (one for everyday of the week). Must have a 3.5" blade or better, I perfer they not have black blades, and not over $200.00 each. They will be used for general EDC chores nothing hard or extreme.

Sounds like you are ready for a large sebenza !!! For a few more bucks you could find a previously loved one here on the exchange !!

I have a lightly carried and used Pat Crawford folder that I would take $250 for... It's a little more than you were wanting to spend, but it's big awesome custom with black micarta handles. If you would like some pics, please send me your regular e-mail address. Thanks, Alan

BF member "Johnwaynesandw" has a BM630 full-size Skirmish FSOT in the Exchange:

I have two mini Skirmishes (BM635's), and I just traded him for another mini. It's a great folder, and I had to have another because they're getting harder to come by these days. Anyhow, it's worth a look - might be what you're looking for. And tell him I sent you; he was great to deal with.

It may just be ZT time for you. Take a look at the ZT0200. Knifeworks has a exclusive ZT0200 that comes with a satin blade.

Also take a look at the Kershaw Speedform. Blade is 3.75" X .157" thick. It is a titanium framelock that is very, very nice, and rugged to boot.

How is the quality and build on these? I like the looks of the Espada and the Spartan.

i don't own either model but i haven't heard anything bad about either one. From everything i've seen they build their folders like tanks. I have been eyeing the large espada for myself.

I'd go with the Spartan. It has better lock up than some customs I have owned/handled that cost 10x as much. I paid $60 for the Spartan and an additional $30 to have TheCarbideRat grind it into a tanto. This is a knife I will not part with. Ever.

If you can find a Rajah 1 that would be awesome, if not either of those two would never let you down.

Maybe a user. The aftermarket is crazy on the Rajah 1. I sold one for $189 on fleabay and the closest competitors wanted WELL over $200.

If you are looking for a LARGE folder, take a look at the Cold Steel Ti-Lite, with the 6 inch blade. I have one, and it's a folding sword!

You'll be wanting a Ritter Griptilian as one of them :)

Mybe a Spyderco Stretch as the another

Or treat yourself and get a 1970s Puma Gamewarden ( Ican be a bit of a bore about them :D)
