Scales: hand carved titanium with copper inlays.
Backspacer: hand carved titanium
Lock: frame lock. locks up at about 20% with zero blade play in any direction.

I rate this knife at 99.5+% condition and am the second owner. It has one small blemish I knew about when I purchased it and it does not detract from the knife what so ever. It looks like a shiny spot on the polished cutting edge (see the photo with the orange square highlighting the area). The knife is razor sharp along the full edge and this spot does not catch or miss cutting in anyway - it seems visual but not physical in my opinion and is very small and difficult to photograph and is only visible if you search it out and let light catch it in a certain way. As noted, when cutting paper, you can cut pigtail slivers and this part doesn't miss a beat with the rest of the cutting edge.
