Then the screws that make up the handle, but i don't have the proper sized torxx bit to fit it so i tryed to unscrew it with the blade tip..didn't work

/ DONE THREAD

This thread got me through a tough stretch of the afternoon on a Friday. It was sorely needed and sorely enjoyed. Well done, sir.

What a way to end a thread! It brought tears to my eyes.

I cringed a bit when I saw the first battoning pics, I had no idea what you had in store for me. I don't like destruction testing, but you added the right amount of humor and I must admit it was interesting to see what a knife like the Griptilian can take.

Walk in the park....? More like a walk through hell. Enjoyed the destruction OP!

I don't think you could have tested the knife any harder :D There are a lot of knives that cost more than the lowly Grip, that would have given up and died early on...

Sorry but I just think that this is garbage. Took a brand new knife and did things you should never do with a knife until you broke the tip. After that you "didn't have proper tools" so you destroyed the knife. Retarded.

Maybe a bit, but as someone who enjoys destruction tests and has performed them, it is very interesting to see what they can take.
My opinion didn't change, and I don't expect yours to change either. Just my $0.02.
I still approve.

You're right in that it didn't change my opinion of the knife as I already knew the Griptilian was kick butt. I have a good mechanical knowledge of engines, construction, and different polymers anyway so I know how tough FRN type knives are.

I guess the part that burns me up is that I don't have enough money to just buy a knife to destroy it. I guess if I made 200k + a year maybe I wouldn't care so much but since I don't I just see it as purposeful destruction of a good tool. :)

Wow, nice thread man, this knife just grew on me a whole lot more! I won't do this with it though :)
