It still has the factory edge and is still very sharp. I replaced the lanyard with one I tied myself, I did keep the small silver lanyard bead that came with it indicating it was a Blade Show purchase. There are some minor snail trails -I try to show these in the gif as they don't show up in the pictures- (CRK does offer free re-sandblasting services to make all snail trails go away)
