Well I had a 25 and loved it, but sold it to fund a old style Zaan. Got the Zaan and don't really care for it. Now I'm trying to decide between going back to the 25 which I know I love or trying out the insingo. What say you? Appreciate the feedback!

Been there done that...

Sold the Zaan the same week I got it, really dislike that knife...

Sold the 25 the same week I got it, didn't dislike it as much as the zaan however Ive had 21's both sm's and lg's, and the 25 seems to me like a step backwards... I know the differences are subtle... esp. if you've never actually had a 21... (maybe you have?)
But, I can pick them right out... and I don't care for them... I dislike the larger pivot they gave the 25, and also didn't care for the differences in the blades and the "slight" changes they made to the handle...

Ive got a small insingo right here on the desk and I intend to keep it and never let it out of my sight, Ive made that mistake in the past! no sir nothing but 21's for me ;-)

But hey!, if you LOVED the 25 then why in the world did you sell it 0.0 ? when I find I truly love something I don't tend to get rid of it...

Have you ever tried a 21?... it's really nice my man...

P.S. Ive been edcing an insingo and cant get enough of it...

Have both and love them both. So alot of help I am lol. I also dont care for the zaan. If you never had a insingo try that first. I love that blade shape both for use and looks. If you dont like it sell it and go back to the 25. Both are readily available and sell pretty decently in the exchange.

I voted for the Insingo. I might be biased because it is the only CRK I have and I love it.

I chose a 21 because I really like the idea of the pivot bushing (no need for loctite ever) and I like that the lock bar makes full contact with the blade. Where on the 25/umnumzaan the ceramic ball detent makes contact with the blade. I am not saying one is better or worse, I just like 21 design more.

I chose the Insingo because I really liked the blade shape. It is just so utilitarian. The only drawback that I can see of the Insingo is that you are missing a really fine point and belly. If you need a fine point or a functional belly on your knife then the Insingo isn't your best choice. But if what you want is a very functional, very utilitarian slicing machine then the Insingo is for you. As far as self defense, I have heard that the Insingo would not be a good stabber because it lacks that pointy tip but the swedge and stout tip of the Insingo would make it an excellent stabber IMO.

I sold the 25 because it is fairly common and the Zaan i picked up is the old pivot/no lbs which are harder to come by. I haven't had a chance to try a 21 yet, still relatively new to CRK's. I think I'm going to trade the Zaan for a 25 and buy an Insingo. Appreciate your feedback!

I have a Glock for self-defense :) just looking at cutting typical everyday things.

The pivot bushing adds a level of intricacy to the 21 that makes it my preference, holds my interest, and helps justify the cost in my mind. The large Insingo is an amazing blade. I think in the large size I'd choose the spear-point as my only CRK knife, but the large Insingo is unique, badass, and functional, though lacks some of the grace of the standard blade shape.

I love the look of the insingo and will get a large one eventually. But it is hard to beat the 25. It took me some time to warm up to it, but when I did....WOW. I love the blade geometry with it being a flat/hollow grind combo and thicker blade stock.

I've had the 25 and large and small Insingo 21s (two of each). I ended up keeping the Insingos. Having EDCd the small version for a few months, I think I'm going to sell the large versions very shortly - I have two and just never got around to using them. Great knives, but the small Insingo is perfect for me!

I got a 25 first then an Insingo, I'd definitely go with the Insingo. It has become my favorite Sebenza variation; awesome slicer and it's super easy to maintain on the sharpmaker. And, the blade sticks out of the handle a bit more and it gives more purchase for your thumb to deploy the blade. I find it easier to open. The 25 is also awesome but I find myself carrying my Insingos the most.

A 25 Insingo would be perfect and I'd buy it in an instant.

I have 4 of the #25's and 2 of the Zanns then I got a Insingo and a week later sold it for $50 less than I paid for it.!**
Guess you could say that it was just not to my liking for some reason or another and I don't see me buying one ever again.!

I voted 25, as I prefer the new updated Sebenza platform, BUT I prefer the Insingo blade, so needless to say, I will be first in line when the 25 Insingo comes out:)

I have not owned a 25, to date. Have never had any CRK with an insingo blade, but will likely try one at some point. I have two Umnumzaans and love their solid feel and perfect balance in my average size hands.

I only have two CRKs which happen to be a Large Insigno and a 25. The Insigno was my first. Its a great knife and I carry it a lot. However, if I could only have one I would pick the 25. Before picking just one I would liquidate some other knives to free up cash to have both……..

I'm REALLY glad I was able to fondle an assortment of CRKs in person before recently getting my first one.

I didn't get to handle the Umnumzaan, but I got to handle the Large and Small 21, the Large being the Insingo and the Small being the Drop/Clip point, as well as a 25.

I knew instantly that the 21 was the right choice for me. The 25 just didn't do it for me. I don't care for the looks, didn't like the finger grooves, and with research I really didn't like hearing that the bushing was gone or that people needed to use Loc-Tite to keep it together.

If CRK ever discontinues the 21, I'm happy to know I already have one but they won't sell me another Sebenza if the only option down the line is the 25. I really feel that the two are totally different knives.

I like them ALL!

Fortunate to have one of each, too. I picked the 25 but want a small micarta Insingo, think it would be pretty handy.

I have the large Insingo micarta and it's ok with me, but the 25 feels like it would never break. That's one solid knife.

You my friend hit the nail on the head!...
I don't even need to add anything to this +1 from me for sure.
