I made 2 camping knives for a hiking trip. My wife picked out one, and the other is getting sold.

The steel is L6.

The spine has a full file pattern.

I took a picture of the knife in my hand for an idea of the dimensions.

I have been cutting and chopping with this one to test the blade, and it passed very well.

Price - $175 shipped without a sheath - or- $185 shipped with a kydex sheath. Buyers choice. (I havent made a sheath yet)

feel free to email me at mlwbailey@yahoo.com

Texas, I have a few more on the bench that are very similar and not claimed yet. One is 1095, and one is 5160. Email me if you want me to reserve one for you.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Thank you Scott, it is quite a compliment coming from one of the kings of camp knives.

Foxtrot, it is in the gallery under "A camper I'll keep "

I really like it, and it feels great in the hand. I have some similar ones on the bench, but I have some orders to finish up first.

Looks like a beauty, great knife Matt

As with most of the knives you make, that's a keeper. I have one of Matt's big campers, it's a big sturdy throw anything at me knife that keeps on workin.

I can, but right now they are just rough ground. I plan on getting to the hand sanding stage in the next couple days... I still have a few orders to finish up.
