Nice! How 'bout those (technical term coming up!) spacer thingy's visible on the backside - are they polished, blue, or...? It's neat the thumblug is polished - not sure I've noticed any other styles like that. Your pics are great! Makes me wanta go get one!

Thanks for the reply. I completely forgot to take one of the top of the spine! The backspacer is polished silver, just like the thumbstud.

Nice shots, nice knife, I like that you also turned the screws around
so the 'pretty' side is on the side you view when using it and the allen
head sides are on the side with the clip, that's the way I do mine...when
I last had one!

Thanks for the comments. I like to think of the front side as the aesthetically pleasing side, and the lock side as the really technical side. Even though they are both aesthetically and technically pleasing. :D

Cool. Thanks!

What I noticed looking thru the pictures: the knife is imacculate! Every single piece didn't have a production fault, scratch or flaw of any kind that's quality workmanship.

I have never owned one of those and your posting gives me some insight.

Have a couple of the Micarta clan visiting me this week, took a few shots
of them myself, very nice knife!

Thanks Fooj,
I use a Canon EOS 20D, and in this case my 17-40mm zoom lens

I am also using an EZ Cube light tent with some vinyl wall paper
clipped to the top back side to make a background

For lighting I used a White Lightning strobe high from behind, just the
one light, and a white paper to reflect some light back onto the knives.

The shutter speed is at 1/250 sec and aperture of f13 all hand held to try
and get a good angle, with more time, it would have turned out a bit better.

I reduced the images using Adobe Photoshop 2, brightened them a little bit
and sharpened the images in there as well.

I used some small pieces of styrofoam, cut into swedges, to keep the knives
at the angles you see.

I have another lens on order, can't wait for it to arrive!!!

that is a very nice Sebbie. I love the Sebbie/SAK combo. That would work great for me.

Nice pictures Gary. I've noticed that the micarta on all the other Sebenzas I have seen is darker than mine and has little grey lines that are straight. I have never seen anyone with pictures of one that looks like mine, with little curly lines.

Thank you Terry, the Sebenza and that SAK are my EDC knives. I love that knife because it has all the tools of the classic, but it has a phillips screwdriver and a bottle opener too.

that is strange, almost looks like end grain?
I was surprised as at the difference in colour too.

But, either way, they add just the right touch when using
the knife, very secure in it's grip.

I am going to have to get a small Sebbie with micarta inlay at some point! Those pix are awesme thanks!!
