Large Micarta Sebenza 21 or Umnumzaan

I like the handle, blade shape, blade thickness, and pivot system of the Sebenza over the Zaan.

as an added comparison here is my Lionsteel SR-1A which is the same length as the large sebenza 21. the large seb is actually 0.035'' longer over all

Wow, thank you for that comparison. I think the small Sebbie might be the right choice. The 530 is probably my favorite EDC blade, so the small Sebenza should be a very nice companion.

glad to help :D I really love my small seb I carry it everywhere but work. In a body shop I would be cleaning it constantly. It doesn't leave my pocket when Im anywhere else though

My small knives usually see the most pocket time on weekends, I usually carry my big knives (ZT200, Spyderco Millie) at work. I get kind of sick of them when I am not working, so the Sebenza should see alot of pocket time.

9/10 found me buying my first CRK - a Wilson Combat/CRK 'StarTac' Umnumzaan (Top, below.). My next CRK was a Nyala (S35VN) fb 12/10, followed by the small plain Jane Sebbie (S35VN) 7/11 (Third down, below.). Between the two CRKs is my Buck 172 Mayo TNT (S30V), a sort of 'poor man's Sebbie', although it was nearly half the small Sebbie's cost on closeout. At the bottom is a Benchmade 480-1 Shoki (m390), not a Ti frame lock like the other three.

Thus far, I have resisted buying a large Sebbie, as it is too similar to the slightly larger and thicker bladed Umnumzaan. The 'zaan is my favorite - I love the 'StarTac' pattern! In going on three years, I may have fiddled with the pivots twice.
