Large modern seax style design with shadetree phenolics scales.
OAL 13 3/8 inches
Blade length is 7 inches even
Made from 5160 steel, .245 thick through the tang. Light distal taper comes to .20 inches one inch back from the tip where the taper increases. Full convex grind on the blade, finished to 600 grit with some forge marks left in near the hilt. Blade is 1 5/8 inches broad at the guard.
Scales are dark green shadetree phenolics burlap with 1/4 inch brass pins.
Sheath is an Explorer style. waterformed medium depth pouch double seamed and fully hand stitched. Belt hanger is adjustable, reversible for LH or reverse mounting carry, and removable for strap or MOLLE mounting
