When I started making hay rake knives, I wanted to make some that were a bit bigger. I ordered some O1 that I thought was a little bigger, but it was a lot bigger. Anyways, here is the result. This is O1 (obviously) and it is forged and heat treated, then hand polished to 800 grit. It is razor sharp and cuts well.

The handle is ironwood. I really like the shape of the handle, it fits the hand well, and the shape of the butt gives it good purchase. The tang is a through tang and is peened on the end.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits snugly and draws easily.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 1/8" tip to handle
Cutting edge - 4 1/2"
OAL - 9 1/2"

Price - $sold shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.

I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.

I agree, that size is cool. Is a through tang wider than a rat tail tang all the way through the handle?

Yes. It is actually quite thick up at the ricasso. I thin the last half inch down for peening.
