Large Period Side Knife

Second Period fixed blade is an Early style Side Knife with a six pin maple handle. Blade is file worked on the back and acid etched for effect. Blade is from old sawmill rip saw blade, oil quenched and drawn back out to a 'Robins Egg Blue' for temper. Steel is L-6 or an equilivant.

Knife is 13" overall
Blade is .160 thick 8" long 1 3/4" at widest with a convex grind
Handle is maple with boiled linseed finish
Hand stitched Veg.Tan leather sheath with loop
