Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my shop with an Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles creating a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Professionally stabilized walnut handle by K&G with red G10 spacers
Overall length 13 1/2 inches with an 8 1/2 inch blade
Weight is 12 ounces
Deep leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

Boy howdy Gerry. That is a big honking handsome knife! I'd love to learn how to forge as you do, but as you know i'm working on stock removal basics now and no doubt that has a ways to go. Your advice has been a big help. Thank you.
