This one is made from Aldo Bruno's 1084. It is a fairly good sized blade with a slight recurve.

Steel - 1084 (obviously) clay quenched with a hamon. It has full filework and a tapered tang (something I do rarely)

Handle - Natural canvas micarta with G10 bolster.

Sheath - leather, designed for horizontal carry.

Dimensions -
Blade - 5 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 11"

Price - $280 shipped to CONUS. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first "I'll take it!" Gets it.

If this one had been bacote or cocobolo I would have grabbed it. Matt makes a beautiful knife.

WOW!!

I love this one and the sheath is great looking too. I wish I had the cash for it.

I saw and held several of his knives at the Ohio Classic show and they are really nice. Good to talk to you Matthew. Keep the knives a coming. I am surprised that they all came back with you.

Wow, this is the one I was waiting to see from you. Of course it comes when I am near penniless for edged tools.:o:grumpy:
That is awesome Matt! I hope to see one very much like it when I can take it off your hands.;)

Lost Dog, this one is yours
PM sent, with some "extra info" that you might find interesting.

Matt

Burton very sad to here you say that all came back with him. You don't have a clue. Matt had a very good show. Only a few went home. please know the facts before you write them in a fourm like this. Saying things like that do know good for anyone.

Well, its ok. The show was a great experience, and I plan on it again next year. I did bring some home, but I sold some there also. I have been fortunate enough to sell all the knives that I brought home from the show here on the forum, and have had the time to catch up (almost) on some orders that I was postponing in order to prepare for the show. No offense taken Burton.

Ted. I have been making knives like a fool to fill some orders and for the Ohio Classic show. These all went with me and sadly enough, came home with me too.
Here is the original quote by Matt that I was making a reference to.

Don't jump to conclusions too fast there. I was giving a compliment

I didn't mean anything by it at all. I was very impressed with Matt's knives and talked with him and checked out his knives for a while at the show. Sorry if you Matt or anybody took this the wrong way.

Its kinda like beer on a campout. If you come home with none, you didnt take enough.:D
