Large Regular, Sebenza - Modified

This would be a user knife. Used but not abused, blade is in very good condition, lockup is 35-40% and solid with no wobble in any direction. Box and original born in card, I'm the only owner.
Modified:
1. Machined flutes in slabes for traction.
2. Enlarged the arc where you reach for the stud to unlock. Did it to make unlocking easier.
3. Added a lock stablizer to lock lug on inside of slab.(see pic's, you can hardley see it when clip is in place)

It's a fine knife, no reason it won't outlast you. Selling because I just don't use hollow ground blades. The only Seb I have left is a Small regular(keeping it).

Sorry to interrupt the sales thread but wanted to know if you did these modifications
yourself? They look great and I especially like how you incorporated the lock
stabilizer on the inside of the handle. Great job :)

WOW! that is a great snag for a Regular Sebenza..
 
Dogs are napping, thank goodness. Love this regular....I really needed the blade, but the more I look at the scales, the more I like it. I'll likely use this one and not make her a shelf queen.
Plus, i just swore to myself yesterday, that I wasn't going to buy another CRK, but dag nabbit, this one is very cool.

Thanks, i did the mods myself. Love working on knives. Done so many years.
The flutes add a just right feel to the grip.
Dogs are good! Cats too.
 
Don't want to make too much of this, but it would be cool if Mr. Reeve did something like that with the new umnumzaan disc he supposedly is going to start putting on them

CRK is going to put lug Stabilizers on their knives? Well shut my mouth, ha. Too funny, several years ago, I showed pics of this knife to the faithful on the CRK forum. Well slapped down, I was. TOO FUNNY!
