SOLD OUT everywhere at $600 + tax/shipping. Birth date 3/14/2022. Thumbstuds replaced with 11Spartans Ti thumbstuds at $65. VASTLY superior ergos. Most common complaint about CRK's are the pain inducing pointy thumbstuds, especially when knife is new and stiff. You feel like you're poking a hole into your thumb tip every time you open the knife. The installation of the new thumbstuds was so well done that you'll think they were original. Knife has never been carried or sharpened. Has been used as a glorified letter opener a handful of times at my desk. Never even used to open a box. There are exactly 2 flaws with this knife. There's a "microscopic" hairline scratch on the upper portion of the pocket clip and there's the slightest "rub" mark near "Made" of the Idaho Made engraving. These 2 flaws are barely noticeable. Otherwise, the knife has zero other imperfections. If you pocket the knife for a day, you will put more "wear" on the knife than what's currently on it. S45VN blade is centered. Zero play in any direction. Bank vault like lock up. No lock stick. Action is phenomenally smooth, even for a CRK. Knife comes complete with birth card, blank registration card, Care Notes, sticker, grease, Loctite, wrench, lanyard tube and polishing cloth. These are currently sold out at authorized retailers from what I can tell and according to CRK as of 5/2023, there's a 4 YEAR wait period if purchased directly from them.

UPDATE: For anyone wondering about whether or not the warranty is void, I just got off the phone with CRK. The blade is NOT under warranty if there's any failure. But, they will replace it for $150 and it can take up to 9 months. The handles are STILL under warranty. As for spa treatment, they will still sharpen the blade, re-blast the handles, clean, tune and inspect. There's no additional cost for spa treatment. From my personal experience of owning over 40+ CRK knives, ranging from "regulars" dating back to the early 2000's to the most current models, I have never had any CRK fail on me in any way whatsoever. I have sent about 10 knives back for spa treatment, and have always been more than satisfied when I got them back. IRBZL Just to reiterate, that's my personal experience.
