Hi All,

I'm a relatively new member to this forum, but I've had awesome experiences (and I have lots of positive feedback) on other collecting/trading forums of all sorts (fountain pens, golf clubs, etc.).

I'm still exploring the knife world, trying to learn my likes/dislikes in order to zero in on the perfect EDC. From lots of reading/lurking around here, I obviously became intrigued with Chris Reeve knives. Wanting to try one out, I snapped up a large Sebenza Insingo. I definitely get what all the fuss is about, as it is a great knife. However, I would like to move it along and try some other things. It comes with it's identity card (born September 2011), lanyard pin, and lanyard. It has some wear marks from being carried, mostly on the clip. There are also some hairline scratches on the tip of the blade that show up at certain angles, but I couldn't capture them in the pics. In speaking with the good folks at CRK, a trip to the spa would have it back to cosmetic perfection for just slightly more than $27. It opens smoothly, locks up solidly, and is perfectly centered. See pics below for more details, and feel free to ask if you have any more specific condition questions.

What I'm looking for in trade:

  • A large regular Sebenza, or Sebenza 21
  • A small Sebenza, preferably with an inlay (micarta would be cool, but ivory would put it into "grail" category for me)
  • Benchmade 940, green, no serrations (I like this knife every time I try one out, I just haven't gotten around to getting one yet)
  • CRK Umnumzaan (probably too big for my EDC, but I'd like to try one)

I'm cool with cash either way to make any deals work. Thanks everyone!

Thanks Steven, I sent you an email. I do not have the box, cloth, or wrench. I just have the knife, lanyard, lanyard pin, and birth certificate.

Good eye, climbingrocks! That is indeed the maki-e (raden) version of the Namiki vanishing point. One of my favorite pens.
