Here are the specs:

Exo Tube (Large Capsule)
outside : 26mm x 136mm
inside: 20mm x 114mm
3mm thick walls
Weight: 5.26 oz.

Cap has a lanyard hole. Each piece will come with 2 o-rings.

This is large enough to hold 2AA, 2AAA, or 3 cr123 batteries. The titanium fire pistons I make also fit nicely in these as well.

Price is $160. Anodizing or sandblasting is $20 more, or $30 for both. I can adda glow dot to the cap for $10 using commercial grade glow powder. Kydex sheaths are available for these for an additional $25.

These are awesome units. I bought two and outfitted each of them more-or-less as below as a survival capsule:

Capsule (Titanium) Bombproof (5.5oz.)
Contents (Internal) (1.6oz):
20mm Compass
Tinder (Dryer Lint) - not shown but packed in upper lid
Misch Metal Firesteel (.25x 3")
#24 Brass Snarewire (12')
Needle
Fishing Kit (mostly in .25" plastic tube):
50+' 20 lb. Braided Fishing Line
2 - Size 10 Snelled Hooks
1 - 6" Wire Wound Leader
2 - #7 Removable Split Shot
2 - #10 Baitholder Hooks
4 - BB Removable Split Shot ***
2 - #8 Baitholder Hooks
1 - #3 O'Shaughnessy Hook for Gaff ***
2 - #6 Baitholder Hooks
1 - Brad for attaching Gaff Hook
2 - #16 Snap Swivels
2 - #14 Barrel Swivels
3 - Small Safety Pins

Contents (External) (.5oz.)
ESEE AH1 w/ sheath
Firesteel Striker
20" Paracord/lock

Maxpedition 5" Flashlight Holder (1.8oz)

There is some room to spare. I carry mine on my belt sometimes in a Maxpedition 5" flashlight holder when in the field. This brings the total weight of the cylinder, contents and holder to 9.4oz. I gave the other to my son.

These are bombproof! A tin might hold all your stuff but it won't survive being crushed by a <fill-in the-blank> like these units will. A tin won't be waterproof either. Give 'em a try.

Dave
