This is a very well made, impressive lock back folder that has never been used or carried. No nail nick, it's pinchable.
Closed Length: 4 7/8"
Steel: ATS-34
Scales: burnt amber jigged bone (i think, but it looks very much like Stag)
$225, shipped and in a padded case.

I bought this with the intention of using it, but i just have too many knives for this to happen.
It is a strong, very capable knife that deserves to be carried and used.
Please note: I live in B.C., Canada, but will send USPS to a U.S. buyer, so it may be a couple of days before i can make the trip to the USPS P.O. to ship.

The handle scales are amber-dyed stag. That knife is based on a smaller pattern Wally made for many years. This was the first one he ever made in this size, to my request, and may be the only one of its kind as far as I know. I've never seen or heard of another. Memory may fail me, but I thought there was a number 1 (possibly 1-A for ATS34 as the blade steel?) on the ricasso indicating it was the first Wally made in this style and size. Everything on that knife except the edge is rounded and smooth--great pocket carry for a large folder, beautifully made, and a great feel in hand, IMHO. You can just make out the indent from a hardness test below his name on the ricasso--he hardness-tested every blade before delivery. Very old school. I moved it along for the same reason Roland is--just too many knives. Someone needs to buy this knife to use and enjoy.

BTW, that's a smokin' price Roland.

Will, thank you for posting these additional details about this knife. I do feel badly that i haven't used it, particularly when i think of all the intense effort, concentration and determination that went into making it. I don't see any number or letter on the blade to indicate steel or pattern.
My hope is that the new owner will see that justice is done and carries, uses and thoroughly enjoys it. Mr Watts' efforts will give at least a century of reliable service.
This knife is now SOLD.
Thanks to BF and all who enjoyed looking at it and esp. Will York, a true "Country Gentleman"
