After all the good reviews on the wegner I am planning on buying one.Should I get the plainedge or the part serrated edge? I have several knives with the plainedge.Who has a good price on a wegner? Thanks all,

I think the Wegner is best in plain edge. I don't know who has the best price, but try 1sks.
 
Hi Ray, I have one with a plain edge and love it.I tried to order a Wegner Jr and was told they were discontinued. I don't know if its true. but I'm holding onto mine just in case.

Plain - nothing else!

Price - whatever you need to spend to get one. If you like it and use it it's worth it...

Hi Ray! I'd go with the plain if you're going hunting with it. And I bet if you posted in the "knives wanted" forum you'd get a couple offers.

PS-you know what'd be cool? A custom Wegner with stag scales and double ti liners. Just food for thought...

Plain edge. Spyderco serrations are nice and sharp, but still troublesome to maintain.

I bought Plain becuase it's going to be used as a folding hunter and carried on the plane.
