The cho and the lines in the handle are what makes the Khuk a little more interesting than your standard big recurve chopper.

I think a big bush chopper is incredibly handy and I have several. My Busse SH-E is my usual knife but I also have a DFLE and a custom 9+ inch bladed bowie on the way.
The only problem with the big chopper and small companion knife (for detail work) set up is they are heavy. A machete or hawk like the CS trailHawk with a wood handle do the same work but are much lighter and cheaper. However they take much more technique and skill to use. The big bowie/kuk choppers are more versatile and can do more if you are on a quad or in a truck and the weight is not an issue
