Yep. That’s my actual EDC now. 🤣

When I first saw your commuting knife it instantly reminded of my dog walking knife......

Before I started Making knives, I was just designing them....then I got to modifying and chopping up the classics....Ha.

I still think the Becker Bk5 is close to being a perfect knife for a variety of uses.
I like Your version and My version better though.....

Thanks. I love the patina on your modded BK5.

I rust blued it. I think a single secession? I don't remember.

I actually did (rust blued) a Becker BK9 that I prefer. I did it a number of times, and it looks much deeper, Darker. The finish holds oil better. It weeps in more. I think it looks richer.

Thanks.

Pics of the 9? 5 looks great, I’ve dabbled in it, yours is quite uniform.

Oh no, the front fell off!😉 Excellent patina, the new grind really changes the look of the entire knife. Excellent work sir, thank you for the pictures. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank You!
I really like it too. It's a really strong/aggressive tip.
I think it might be my only knife with a finger choil, I'm kinda embarrassed to show It

My new shirt pocket edc is a Buck 55 which I think has a 2 3/8in blade. Finding I can do most of the things I do with that length. Like it better than the 58mm SAK length blade for edc shirt pocket carry.
