Larry Harley Battle Bowie - Lonesome Pine Knives
Approx Length: Blade - 9 Inches to Handle - Overall - 15 inches
Knife locks in hand and is well balanced. Is an excellent Fighter or Hog Hunting Knife.
Double edged "butcher grind" ATS-34 Blade. Canvas Micarta Handles, with steel pins & Lanyard Hole. Larry was apparently at the top of his game when he made this years ago. Excellent fit and finish in my opinion. An impressive piece of steel.
Original owner. Has been used only once --- a single successful stab by me of a 250lb wild boar --- worked extremely well. Never sharpened. Has been babied & treasured. It has a few light surface scratches, presumably from the boar. In my opinion, the surface scratches do not at all detract from the looks or functionality of this fine knife. A pride of ownership piece for me but I am moving. I did not acquire a sheath as I am left handed. Instead, I acquired an excellent Bill's Custom Case. The case is like new and will be included with the knife. It is excellent for shipping, travel, or storage.
I believe Larry came up with the design of this piece to enter into an ABS Bowie Cutting Competition. Which he ended up winning.
Usual "I'LL TAKE IT" Followed by email or PM is fine.
Shipping within the CONUS is included in the price. I plan to ship it USPS with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation.
USPS Money Order accepted. NOT ACCEPTING TRADES, thanks.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
Thanks for looking.
PRICE: $475. (MO).
