Just wondering if any of you out there own any pieces by Larry. A lot of nice creations.
Am wondering how they are up close and how they perform. Does LArry have an ABS certification; JS ? MS ?

My friend has a blade he bought from him at a NY show several years ago... i've only seen this one, but it is a dagger... double edged, sharp as anything i've ever seen.

Very stout blade, great grinds. Handle was nice, but i thought could have been just a bit smaller.

very homey sheath.

but for the price my friend paid?? a real BEST BUY, and i wish i had one.

Just talked with Harley this evening. He is a great guy who likes to laugh a lot. I like him.

I don't own one of his knives, but I plan on changing that in the not too distant future. The knives he makes have always enthralled me with their sumptuous curves, excellent workmanship and superb materials. He has been making knives since he was nine years old and it shows.

Harley got his JS stamp about six years ago and figures that he will probably get his MS stamp someday. From what I have seen of his knives, he won't have any trouble getting that stamp when the time comes.

You will find that Harley likes to take the reins when it comes to making knives. Give him a basic idea of what you like and then let him run with it.
