This is one of my Canadian's, It is a stock removal piece. Flat ground from a .214" bar of 5160 high carbon steel it is then oil hardened,tempered to 475F. and polished. The Cordia scales are polished, oiled, feature hand inlet brass hardware and are removable for cleaning or maintenance.
Carbon steel must be cared for and WILL patina with use, so i now offer parkerizing free of charge, it is not pretty but it is practical

I've got two of Dale's blades and both are amazing--beautiful and scary sharp!

A nice feature for a user is the ability to remove the nice wood scales and do a wrap for messier use. My Tactical is currently sporting paracord sheath grips, but can go back to the original "dress" yarra wood grips with relative ease.
