laser cutting source

Anyone have any GOOD waterjet cutting references?

Ie. no set up fee, no minimums, etc.

There are a lot of guys doing waterjet these days. I would suggest you try to find someone local and check them out in person. I think it helps to speak face to face with the vendor if possible, show him what you want (get feedback) and even get a chance to view the process.
Try googling "waterjet ---name of biggest close city---" and see what comes up.

I used this technique to mine for double-disc grinders after being disgusted by a few I had looked into both by word of mouth and online (interstate). I found a company in the next town, litterally paid 1/3 the price quoted by the other's, and got about 800 parts done in 3 days rather than the quoted 3-4 weeks of the other guys. Always a good idea to shop around.

I've been trying. I had a company who used to waterjet cut blanks for $4 a piece -no minimums, no other weird things like "lot sizes" etc. but they're really backed up these days and aren't accepting new work. I'll keep trying. Thanks.
