Here is a quick comparison of the LS & ESEE 4/5/6 & then my spec-ops sheath for the LS
the LS Scales are real comfy ,I like 'em

I noticed that it doesn't have the tang extend beyond the scale for a glass breaker/hammer/lanyard hole pommel. Any plans on changing that or is the design pretty much set in stone..err..steel?

again this LS is a proto type so change could be possible,I know the screws will change 'fo sho' :D

Jeff, you may think it's ugly but that looks like bushcrafting b-e-a-uty to my eyes. I'm more excited about this knife than all the people anticipating the HEST/f and 3/f combined (but without the anger of the HEST crowd.) You guys got me seriously stoked with this one.

Thanks for the pics Tony. You compared them perfecto. Looks like a good big grip size on the LS when it is compared to 5 and 6. :thumbup:

Well, it may not win any beauty contests, but it looks very functional which is right up ESEE's alley. I'm liking it and will keep watching for pricing as Blade approaches. Thanks for giving us an early look.

took the words right out of my mouth!! When I first heard you guys were going with the LS I couldn't believe it and thought you'd plum lost it for sure.. that knife just screams fuglification...

funny thing is the more I see it the more I like it.. go figure.. not that I'll buy one mind you:p
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one. That knife is ugly as sin. Way too tacticool for my taste. It's like it doesn't know what it wants to be. A fighter or a bushcraft knife. Doesn't fit the bill for either one imo.

HA! By that time i have taken a plane from amsterdam to TX, assassinated Tony with dave's panties and taken the LS.

Dont tell though, might spoil the plan..
