Don't forget, tomorrow, August 31, is the last day to order the NARK or the F1 for A YEAR!!!!!!!

Be sure to call Shaggi and have her put you down for your finish/handle choice!

If you don't, I hear that Stinky is already conspiring to have exact replicas made of the knives. The replicas are rumored to be originating at, of all places, a bakery located in the midwest. (I've seen this shops work, and there are no tells, these pups are right on...) These replicas will be stocked at the company store, and shipped to unsuspecting INFI addicts, while Stinky's INFI hoard grows, he will be heard laughing all the way to Dirks house... Then, when the buyers send the bakery-forgery back, Stinky will just say, "Hey, the dog ate whatever you sent, we didn;t get a knife. You'll have to buy another..bwahahahahaha.."

So make sure you call tomorrow.... Don't become an enabler for Stinky's sickness.... ;)

thanks for the reminder, a great chance to order exactly what you want!!

(thanks mike, i just got in under the wire with the bakery. i made sure that they made enough of this months models so that the "store" would have a few backups for the people who slept in tomorrow. and the good news is that they will be the same price. maybe not exactly what you would have ordered but damned close :) )

wished i could send my kids to collage like andrew

Gobs O.....wants to know as it's been awhile. What is a NARK and an F1?

Pardon the ignorance, been busy, busy, busy!

GPB, the NARK is the Nuclear Air Rescue Knife, shown on the BusseCombat.com site.

The F1 is the Force One, that you saw in Indy.

Was great to see you and meet Mrs. GPB. Be sure she sends me those Atlanta pics... ;-)

Lemme know if I can be of further assistance....

I absolutely do not understand Busse's business model. WHAT ARE THEY DOING? Pissing me off is what they're doing. If a model is good then why discontinue it, either for a year or for anytime? And then having the nerve to say that they're doing us a favor by not including sheaths?

They're pissing down our backs and telling us it's raining. I know there are people here that can't find the cojones to criticize this bullsh*t, but that's exactly what it is: bullsh*t. Yes, it's their company and they can do whatever they want. I wouldn't care what they did if their knives sucked. Their knives are great, but the way they do business makes NO SENSE.

I which they'd cut the crap and just have a model line, and if the models are good then keep them, and if not, then don't. Is that so friggin' hard?

jody
vor
NO EFFIN' REGRETS!!!

(i don't recommend the md,,,unless it's 20/20)

The fact that you do not understand Busse's business model is not necessarily an indictment of Busse's business model.

I do not totally understand general relativity but that doesn't mean that Einstein was the mentally deficient one.

Don't you see that Jerry is not only making a ton of money but he's also having fun. If all I wanted was a knife I'd just go to Wall-Mart. This place is fun!

it's raining again??

Sorta like the beer sampler at the local microbrew...different samples--some which I really look forward to when offered....If not available, I will wait for them to be available again, and try something different, now....

Box from Busse=Happiness

Beer=Happiness

Many different beers==Mucho gracias!

here's how i figure it, he has to figure it out, meaning production schedules and machine down time vrs. model change over. machining centers do turn and the shards of infi and micarta do fly. if the wall is big enough some of the **** will stick. now the guy voracious on the force one will soon be in the full cycle of the production schedule.

sooooo.... it's their company and they can do whatever they want. I do not totally understand general relativity of the in stock factor. the models are good so try something different. Jerry is not only making a ton of money but that doesn't mean that Einstein was the mentally deficient.

mikeh is the guy behind the scheduling of the deliverys but we still don't know what his product is??? seem to be a problem between the time the corks fly and the time anybody finds the fricking timeclock. i do know that holli knows the full answer and rightfully so since she ownd over half of the blue label in town.

i agree about the sheath problem, but i don't really understand what it is. i have my sheath but it's only because i had the foreskin to order it well in advance. besides dave brown was out for a week sniffing kydex glue and the whole plastic production went to the jimmycaps.

and with the mad cow or laughing cow sickness who in the hell would want a scabbard made from a damned laughing cow?? not me thats for sure.

my fellow maggot eater, andrew is having HARD times now, let all pray....

Not only that..

But the more we eat at Fogo, the more beef we eat, which means the more hides are available, which means leather sheath prices drop. :p ;)

Now we jsut gotta figure out what animal kydex comes from, and get them on the menu....

Too bad ya can't wrap INFI in banana skins too well... :grumpy:

the REAL question is: when a cow laughs, does milk come out of her nose?

that's udderly ridiculous.

There are many factors that we, the buying public, do not know about the making of products.

Product mix, facility size, skilled labor, contractual obligations, heat-treat losses, and many others come into play.

In the ideal world, you could have a wide product offering, an extremely large facility with the skilled labor and tools to produce large quantities, and never lose anything in heat treat.

But, this isn't an ideal world.

Let this new program work through. You will see that it is in fact going to produce better results. When the store gets up and running, models available will cover ones which are no longer on the main website.

One must also factor in that Busse prices for most models have not changed in almost 5 years. Production costs have. Eliminating sheath inclusion is part of keeping prices from jumping out of reach.

In fact, it does make sense.

Also, I for one would appreciate a more civil tone in your posts. While you have the right to state your opinion, how you do it should be in a more mature and tactful fashion.

If you can't be cool, I can address that too.

would the kydex creatures be free roam or farmed?? huh??
and what is the daily limit on these buggers??

oh yeah... does the last day to order mean at 12am Ohio time, you can't get them anymore, or does it mean that at 12am Alaska time you can't get them any more???
