I only have a few more fixed blades to sell. PP only. Shipping to lower 48.
MAY trade for Spydercos folders. No SS, PE's (will consider CE, NO SE), Enduras or Delicas (have too many). If it's in decent shape, even a used and carried one, box optional. Only Byrds I am interested in is a Crow, Raven in G-10, or the Firebyrd.
The next two are the last of my old hobby blades. I have since stopped scaling blades. My supplier went to Chinese steel and I quit doing the work. I am skilled enough to continue without working on junk steel. I have boxes of exotic woods, pin and tube stock in most metals, some Micarta, Pearl Acrylics, Corians, Fiber Spacers, and Reconstructed stones. I will put what is left for sale in the "making" forum after I get it inventoried. Someone will get a heck of a deal.
I MAY scale one more, and that is the last of it. You can have that option on # 3.
2. Here is one of the last American Made, Military Grade 440c blades I did for myself. A BIG Drop Point Camper. It is 9 1/2" OAL, 4 1/2" Tip Tor, 1 1/4" wide blade, and 1/8" steel thickness.Hardness at 58-60. SHARP!!
I scaled this with an amazing material. Horse stall rubber matting with Copper hardware.
This stuff lasts for ever, resists moisture, stains, and the weather. It stays grippy when cleaning game or fish, or in the rain. It performs better than any other handle material I have used. Horse stall rubber is used to line Thoroughbred Horse stalls. Easy to keep clean for one. Pee and Poop? No Problem! It's easy on the hooves those lil' horses.
Just spray it down with Auto Belt dressing every couple of years. The wear resistance id unbelievable, and until you actually use this stuff in the field, you have no idea how great it works.
I had made this one to keep in my Back Pack, and I had another in my Go Pack. Sold that one, selling this one. I have one more set or Rubber, and I am keeping it for a special custom blade.
I am including a Robert Jones sheath, horizontal belt carry for a cross draw in the woods. 1st class construction and double stitched and double welt. it was made for a Period Piece blade, but the Camper fits it perfect.
I want $65.00 $PF for the set. Will trade for new/used Spydercos. Balance, Lockback Kiwi, Kopa, or a used Orange Military. Maybe some other Spydercos similar to those.
