Last one (I promise????): What is the most interesting thing to cut audiologically*, in your opinion? *Correction - auricularly

We get parts shipped at work wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap. I absolutely love slicing through layer after layer getting to the part. The slicey little pops as my knife gets through the layers is soooooo satisfying. Seems so weird to put it into words but alas, here I am.

1. Paracord, the sound it makes when the knife is so sharp, that it just "pops" apart.
2. Paper/Cardboard. Again the sound and the feel of the sharp knife's going through it.
3. Wood, the cracking sound it makes when you baton and the wood is just starting to split.
4. Honorable Mention - Tomato. When the knife catches the tomato skin and you slice right through it.

Italian sausage and brats, etc. Cutting/biting through that casing is a great feel and sound.

I enjoy the schwip of newsprint, and the brrrrup of carpet...

Forgive the attempted onomatopoeias, those are as close as I can come to writing those noises.
