Hi All,

This is the last price drop them I will be sending it off to a nephew in New York. I wound up using Shedua wood for the scales. They have an wonderful iridescence to them in the light, lots of depth. Your comments, as always, are welcomed.

Specifics:
8.5 inches over all.
4 inch blade
Shedua wood scales
1/4 inch 1095 to a Rockwell 57-58
Mirror finish
Hair popping sharp

Hi, The reason I dont use stainless is that it does not hold an edge the way hi carbon does. (my experience anyway)There is also the hardening and tempering to deal with. I do everything by hand. For what its worth with this degree of polish on the metal you would really have to not take care of it to get it to rust. I have a push dagger that I carry everyday and sweat on a lot. Even under those conditions it does not rust. Anyway thanks for looking. Ken
