Late Autumn Wander With a Fiddleback & a Gossman

Nice country, but yes it does start to get a little gloomy looking towards winter. By the look of those seeds and that ring of fur, that coyote must have blown his ass off while trying to pass a pit !

Always appreciate you taking us along Mist :)

Broomstraw= Prairie Grass, eh? It gets cussed and limed around here in pastures and hayfields.

Man, Them Black Walnuts look good. The trees around here did not make any that I can find. The Persimmons look good too. Just about all gone here though. I only saw two or three left on the tree I eat them from. Guess the coyotes had fun . Thanks for another good post.

Yeah the winters here get a little gloomy looking, but I still like wondering the woods here more in the winter than the summer.. The fur was a little way from the scat, and I spread the scat to retrieve the seeds :)

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed the post. I can see how the clumps could be a pain in a hay field.

Thanks Hawkeye. I love black walnuts, my favorite wild snack! We still have a few persimmons here and there, found a tree today with several large ones left on it
