Late to the Party ... but the BWM's are here!

Thanks for the review, I'm really hoping I can score a BWMLE before Jerry pulls it from the lineup.

Thanks Tom .... slowly getting there ... :D

I said I would post a pic of the handle mod's I wanted to do .... with the BWM LE I wanted to smooth the grips .... it is pictured with a 3B2 which as those who have handled them know has the most comfortable of grips with smooth black G10 .... this "feel" is what I wanted the BWM LE to have ....

Again sorry for the indoor pic's but I only got this finished late tonight ... however the knife now feels like "smooth velvet" in the hand and I am well pleased ....:)

I can totally understand the desire for smooth G10 on your BWM. I've spent many hours trying to fine tune mine as you can see in this indoor pic with bad lighting. It is well worth it when you can finally say it just feels perfect. You might recognize that DC FSH too, Peter. ;)

Hi Tim,

Yes it is worth it ..... getting the grips right .... makes a world of difference IMO

Just spent an hour or so today doing the edge on my BWM LE .... it came good enough to cut paper but not as good an edge as Infi can take .... it is now the same as the FSH's edge was when I sent it out ... I am pleased you are enjoying that one :) Nice rope work as well with the lanyard D guards

I have the BWM CG to do .... and then will do a comparison chop off. Cannot get it done for this weekend though ... but soon :D

It will be interesting to see how these knives do with knives of a comparable weight ... may alter the size of blade a bit but keep the weights similar... and also do a few with the same size of blade ... I think the BWM LE will be a bit special here ... it just has such a great "feel" to it ...
