Latest belt off my workbench.

I needed a new casual belt. This one’s made form 15oz J. & F.J. Baker Harness leather. I love this leather.

Nice! I have a couple very similar belts I got from Cabela's about 20 years old that are still good. I treat mine with SnowSeal from time to time.

Well that explains why for sure. Thanks for the info. I’ve used quite a bit of US tanned bridle leathers over the years.

That is a great looking belt, Dave.
It seems that would make a darn heavy belt after adding a liner. It looks hefty but not overly.
Did you split the harness leather? What are the weights of the harness and liner leathers?

Its really quite flexible. The harness leather belt blank was also provided by the customer. I just cut to size, cut the tapers and skived a bunch to get the tip to fit. I mis spoke earlier btw. This was Herman Oak not Wicket and Craig. 8/10 oz on the HO and 4 oz on the lining leather.
