Hi folks its been awhile since I posted anything and I am working very hard on knives for san antonio and little rock but I was bitten with the kitchen knife bug and the only cure was to make a few kitchen knives to get over the bug. I would not say that I am cured but feeling much better. this is the last one til after little rock, I hope. I call this pattern easy explanation as it is only 4 welds to the blade and not hard to explain like some patterns can be. I am very sorry for my poor pics I will make up for it by having a pro shoot my next knives I post. I look forward to seeing some of you at the up coming shows.

Looking good, Dave! Really like the wood...Koa? Look forward to seeing watcha got at Little Rock!

Beautiful knife David!
I really like the pattern in the steel and the Koa handle looks great.

that knife looks more as though it were 'grown', as opposed to be 'built'.

It's so pretty I'd be afraid to use it! Nice compliment from Lorien about it looking as if it were "grown instead of built".

Dave your work is ALWAYS impressive and inspiring. This is no exception.

Thanks folks for the kind words and as fun as making this was it felt great to be working on a big bowie today.

Way to go Dave!! All aspects of the knife are top shelf. Killer Damascus, great lines and that Koa is off the charts. Beautiful work my friend.

Really points out a glaring lack of nice kitchen knives in my stable.

Lovely knife.

J'aime beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup.........

I like that very very much...the curvature of the "bolster" the killing detail...
